I joined the Weekly Photo Challenge for WordPress to help motivate myself to take more pictures, and share them with  the world. This week’s theme is NEAR AND FAR.

My last installment to this week’s challenge! 🙂

The horizon shot early in the morning. So much love for the beach and the horizon! ♥

Taking photos of the horizon is one of my favorite things. For this week’s challenge, I will be posting photos from a beach trip with friends. I will be splitting it into three entries – that’s how much I love horizons! ♥♥♥

So I’m gonna start with photos taken during dusk.

And because I just can’t get enough of sun flares, and it so happens that I have beach shots with the sun in my archives, I decided to make a second entry to this week’s challenge.

Shooting into the sun is quite tricky – mainly because it’s overpowering. Shooting against the light drowns the subject, and you lose details. But whenever I see the sun bearing down, I am always tempted to break the rules and point my camera towards it. Why, you say? Because of LENS FLARES of course! Lens flares are love! I just love the ~drama~ it brings. Heh. 🙂
